So, does the size or number of the neurons have anything to do with intelligence? Are there chemicals in our brain that interact with the neurons causing them to work more efficiently ? Does the size of these neurons reach a point of balance making one species able too have higher mental function than another?
I would be interested to know if the size of the neuron is important in some way. In other words, can we make really tiny neurons like tranzistors in computer chips and create a small (in size) brain with 1 quadrillion nano-scale neurons with incredible intelligence?
