      I’d love to understand what is about the granular structure of space-time that forces light to have a maximum speed

        We know from relativity that what determines the speed of light is the geometry of spacetime (identified by Minkowski, not Einstein contrary to the earlier notes) but Rovelli hasn’t discussed that so far, maybe later.
