I like to think it as an yes: theories are formed due to our capability to undertand the world, and if it’s too complex, in matter of fact, we better leave it behind and start searching for something from scratch. Leaving behind, it’s seen as something bad, but it’s deeper than that. It’s a way to aknowledge “Okay, maybe it wasn’t that way, I’ll not force the universe to follow MY laws”.
