    While general relativity is the most accurate theoretical description of gravity available, most people still think about gravity in Newtonian terms as a force between objects. Do you think this divide between academic and practical understanding is necessary or useful? Do you think the widespread colloquial understanding of gravity in Newtonian terms makes it harder for people to grasp general relativity? Explain your answers.
