This is an updated version of the demonstration you encountered earlier comparing train and platform views, but now including Lorentz contraction. Note that according to the train perspective, the railroad tracks are not spaced as far apart as in the ground/platform perspective. Moreover, in the ground/platform perspective, the train is shorter than it is in the train perspective. As you can see, this more precise version of the scenario has no effect on our conclusion regarding the relativity of simultaneity.
