This demonstration illustrates what a relativistic bicycle wheel would like like at a single moment in time, as viewed from the stationary frame of the ground. Use the buttons to choose the number of spokes and the slider to set the velocity of the wheel (we imagine the wheel to be rolling counterclockwise). Notice how the spokes appear bent, becoming more and more distorted at greater speeds.
