With an expanding universe, what is the effect on the waves pushing outwards thus expanding the universe. Much like a tsunami would do. And if not why not? Has it ever been considered as a contributing factor?

That is a very interesting and unique perspective on this phenomenon, perhaps the interaction is a lot more like water than we believe, as things tend to mimic each other.

Gravity waves occur at 10kHz and remain basically unchanged as they pass through things.
Gravity waves can be heard by humans.
Can we make instruments? ☺
