Human bodies aren’t made for space or deep sea exploration, so we could link up with our devices. I don’t understand why such technologies are only aimed at medical use.

Concern: editing may have side effects. Those may only show in adults.
Other issues: who is to decide what is permitted?
And who is going to pay for it? Or is availability of such technology fostering difference.

They require the bacteria, or the bacteria benefitting from transposons can adapt better. Which benefits the jumping genes too
