No, because the moving observer measure contracted length in direction of train movement. The height component of the slope is same according to both, unmoving and moving observers.
March 5, 2024 at 4:54 amBased on the principles discussed on this lesson, in some sense they do exist at same time as the time vector in each frame of reference is “consuming” future, processing now and exhausting past. I consider this issue as exchange of messages. A) Both, the unmoving and moving reference frames see the clock in the other one slower. B) The message sent from the moving frame “feels” zero or near zero time passed when received at the unmoving frame, thus “pseudo-syncing” the frames according to the message or photon. Also, this “intra-photon zero time vector” enables the role swapping of moving and unmoving frames. C) The intra-frame transmission is possible only in phase of the time vector. Communications to the past is not possible as c is always positive in all reference frames, and between the frames. D) Thus one can send a message from now to the past, which is actually the local now at the receiving end, provided the communications is inter-frame message exchange. One cannot send a message from local past to now or from local future to local now inside reference frame. Or that’s what I think.

On the 2nd step the formula “as is” without derivation, in order to strengthen the alredy learnt concepts. On the 3rd step, after I’ve tried and succeeded or failed myself, I’d like to check the derivation done by the professional scientists.

The “time biasing” only cancels the travel time. So the real world net effect is actually as you wrote, they won’t be in sync. BR JKi

August 27, 2020 at 10:30 amAs I live inland, not so much. However, several years ago I spent several weeks in Puget sound area and I was able to monitor birdlife and sea surface there. Interesting that trees and other plants are quite similar as those where I’m living. So you cannot necessarily say w/o more detailed study are the plants and trees growing near ocean or near inland lake. More close study confirmed that the soil was more conductive, thus salty. This is of course clearly visible when the plant is under a microscope. Speaking of sealife there are few fish which are adapted to ocean and brackish water. Some of them (or som percentage of them more likely) can survive even in freshwater.

However, these more or less large scale guidelines are in magnitudes of thousands or even millions of tonnes. There must be more dedicated internationally binding agreements and possibility for instant emergency brakes. This, however requires more oceans related data collection and processing. In addition to the more dedicated agreements more hands on resources should be allocated for the ocean research and protection.

We must develop land based processes in such a way they do not pollute our oceans. On the other those existing processes should be developed in recycling sea pollutants as raw material.

This data gives opportunity to build more sophisticated instruments and tools which are of course more expensive. Thus collaboration is needed in every level of expertise.
